Project 3 Sampling & Sketching

I recently acquired more related fabrics in New York so here are some shots of those:

For sampling, I created some beading that resembled the flashing of multiple cameras and Bokeh effects. I also used a metallic film and made a tassel out of its funnel shape when sewn onto fabric. This can be used as an embellishment on outerwear, dresses, and accessories, resembling common tassel embellishments used by Proenza Schouler. Another piece I am using incorporates small mirrors into a lightweight red fabric. I am also working on a layered embroidered lettering on fabric, and am compiling personal photography into prints as suggested to see if I can achieve a desired print. I also found a dark vinyl that feels like photo film, which I plan to laser cut out film strips for added details.
